I am vaccinated and test regularly!

SAFE SANITATION PRACTICES INCLUDE:

  • The use of disposables for all possible steps in the makeup process: one-use foundation sponges, lip wands, eyeliner applicators, mascara wands, and the use of Q-tips and cotton rounds.

  • Thoroughly washing all brushes with approved professional brush cleansers in between each use.

  • Washing all makeup tools with 70% rubbing alcohol in between each use; ie. lash curler, pencil sharpeners, tweezers.

  • NEVER double-dipping in a product container.

  • All makeup products (creams, liquids, and powders) are scooped out onto a disposable, one-use palette and applied from that surface only.

  • All product palettes and containers are sanitized inside and out with 70% alcohol between each use; ie, eye shadows, blushes.

  • Properly washing hands in between each talent as well as using hand sanitizer and wipes regularly while out on set.

  • Wiping down the makeup counter with an EPA approved disinfectant and then laying down a fresh paper towel in between each application.

  • Wearing a face mask and full-face shield during the time of COVID 19.

  • Using Disposable/one-use Nitrile, Latex-Free, medical-grade gloves while performing makeup applications. Gloves will be changed between each talent using the proper safe removal technique.

  • Freshly washed capes will be provided for each application.  Disposable capes have been ordered but are currently on backorder until June.

  • Handshaking will be also be eliminated during the time of COVID 19.

  • Hair tools will be disinfected in between each use with a Germicidal, Fungicidal, Pseudomonicidal, Virucidal, and Tuberculocidal spray.

ALL OF THESE TECHNIQUES ARE UTILIZED FOR THE SAFETY THE TALENT AS WELL AS MY OWN PERSON PROTECTION.  I ASK THAT TALENT ALSO PRACTICE SAFE INTERACTIONS DURING THIS TIME.  IF TALENT HAS THEIR OWN MASK, IT IS AN OPTION TO DO THEIR EYE MAKEUP APPLICATION WHILE WEARING A LOWER FACE COVERING.

STAY HEALTHY EVERYONE!
